I don't think any of us live in Philly.

How’s that rich national history and polygamous cult in Utah?css75 wrote:Jazz are better than Sixers. At least they didn’t have to tank for 5 years to get a decent team. How are those mountains and National Parks in Philly?Ivytalk wrote: And you live where? Utah? Now there’s a Mecca for pro sports.

That cult is doing just fine, though their % statewide is slowly going down. I am glad you see it for what it is.Ivytalk wrote:How’s that rich national history and polygamous cult in Utah?css75 wrote:

Uh, the Sixers purposely lost for 3 years, not 5 years. And no, the Jazz didn't have to do that. They had to play 6 mediocre years of basketball (from 2010-11 to 2015-16) to get a decent team that's still not as good as the Sixers.css75 wrote:Jazz are better than Sixers. Oh, and Philly does have Independence National Historic Park, and we have Valley Forge National Park, so yes, our National Parks are doing just fine thank you.

Helped by the fact that the Blazers did not have any big men up front. Then Simmons takes Hood out in the 4th quarter.93henfan wrote:Sixers stay undefeated without Embid.

Bully ball. The Sixers are like the Pistons of old. Get used to it. And please, none of the Blazers big men are any good anyway. Sixers did this without Embiid, who is in fact pretty good.JALMOND wrote:Helped by the fact that the Blazers did not have any big men up front. Thybulle gets another test as he'll likely get the job of covering Booker. Sixers can't make it a habit of falling behind by 20+ points in the 3rd quarter and expecting to pull most of those games out. But you gotta like how this team plays defense generally and how they really try to pound the ball to the rim. And they do look enormous out there compared to the other team. When they played Minnesota the other night it looked like a college team playing a high school JV team just by the size difference alone.

We'll see come March. We should have Nurkic back by then. Make sure Embid does not lose his head again.GannonFan wrote:Bully ball. The Sixers are like the Pistons of old. Get used to it. OK. In the meantime, you can go hang out with your Antifa homies on a Portland street corner of your choice.JALMOND wrote:We'll see come March. We should have Nurkic back by then. Make sure Embid does not lose his head again.GannonFan wrote:

The Suns are now 5-2, with a 1 point OT loss at Denver and a one point loss to Utah.

Well, you know, they're also playing on the road as well. I'll take a 2-2 roadtrip and will see these teams again in Philly.JALMOND wrote:Sixers are playing now on the west side, where you and I know its the best side.dbackjon wrote:The Suns are now 5-2, with a 1 point OT loss at Denver and a one point loss to Utah.

Ben Simmons is a bust. He's also a soft, non-shooting bitch. I was hoping for a little more from all that tanking. This team is good but not great.
