We have threads for the 2019 Phils and 2019 Eagles but not the 76'ers or Flyers so I thought I'd help out and get them started ...
Who's a Flyers fan and who has an update on their prospect for the season? If no one steps up maybe our resident hockey expert and former Flyers fan (89) can give us some insight.

The Flyers are going to stink and will likely be on the outside looking in come playoff time again. Only team in Philly that is truly bad right now. On the bright side, they just opened up $25 standing room only tickets that are up in a sky box, complete with bar, fireplace, and seats (apparently standing room only doesn't mean what I think it means!). Could actually go to a game now that they have a reasonable price.

I've done standing room at Caps games and it literally is a box painted on the concrete where you're allowed to stand. They are actually a good vantage point (top of the first level) but standing on concrete for 2+ hours is brutal at 50+.

Like I said, this looks different. I've seen what you're talking about at Phillies and Eagles games, but this is fancy. One positive of the millennial generation - all of their coddling does get some perks for us older folks.

Great article on the best thing the Flyers have done in the past 40+ years since winning the Cup - Gritty. He should be like a Harvard Business Case Study on how to make a perfect mascot. Sheer genius.
