Heard on the radio that soccer is more popular than hockey now.

Is that shocking? I think it's been that way for awhile now. Baseball's likely to be next. I don't think it'll touch basketball and football in our lifetimes, but it will nestle into #3 in America quite nicely.

Always a tough call for me. Always root for regulation tie and win going to team that needs the point the most. Right now, that's the Caps.

I like these Flyers: good combination of youngsters and vets like Kevin Hayes. Vigneault is doing a great job as coach. They’re the best pro sports team in Philly right now. They may not win it all, but I have hope for the future.

They look great so far. Game against Bolts should be interesting as they probably won't know what winning or losing does to who they face in the first round. I guess if the Canadiens knock out the Pens, then the Flyers/Bolts winner gets to face the 12 seed, loser faces Leafs/Jackets winner.

And the Rangers are the lucky losers who win the draft lottery and get to choose Lafreniere

Carter Hart makes the future look bright. Keep him away from booze and Porsches.
Easily the best keeper they've had since Hextall, and he's more fundamentally sound and even-tempered.

I loved Hextall. My favorite goalie to watch.

I loved the guy too. How many goalies have also been goons? And scored two goals?

Hart recovers from being yanked by pitching a shutout tonight.
Flyers' power play SUCKS right now. 0-6 on the PP and 20 shots total for the game.

Meanwhile, over on the Beltway, the Caps need a miracle.

It's an election year. The Russian players are consumed with their election-rigging/collusion activity. Hard to focus on hockey. Cut 'em some slack.
