This Saturday could be the last game Tom Brady plays for the Pats. Or in the NFL. He's 42 and will be a free agent after the season.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him in powder blue next year. He's from CA. They're moving into a beautiful new stadium and need a QB.

Goes to the Vikings, Cousins to Pat's, and they win a Supet Bowl. Vikings lose NFC Championship game and blame the refs, and say Philly phans suck.

Going to the Chargers makes sense. Next year the AFC West plays the AFC East so he'd get to play the sorry bottom feeders in the AFC East at least one more time each.

The number of available quality QB's in free agency next month will be large
The Patriots can get a better QB at half the price in 45 days

Why would the Vikings downgrade to Brady?
Since Kirk joined Minnesota
Kirk
31 games 732-1050 (69.7%) 7,901 yards 56 TD 16 INT 103.0 rating
Tom
32 games 748-1,183 (63.2%) 8,412 yards 53 TD 19 INT 92.6 rating

1. Belichek is smarter than Spielman
2. Vikings history, aka Herschel Walker trade
3. Money
4. See #1

Just wait till the playoffs and/or big game, that's where Cousins really shines.

I see the Patriots investing in OLs and WRs with talent and intelligence so Brady can break Blanda's age record....

He’ll be back in Foxboro next year.

He’s not going out like that unless his body is worn down. The willingness to prepare is the big retirement question.

I think a big question is what will their penalty be for the videos. If they lose money from the salary cap, that could hinder their chance to sign some help for Brady.

1. Brady is a free agent....this point means nothing
2. That trade is almost as old as I am
3. Money is why Kirk isn't going anywhere. He's under contract. He's under fully guaranteed contract
4. Kirk has a lot of haters - Kirk is pretty damn good and that deal the Vikings signed him too was smart and it's paid off. He's already top 7-10 in every category in Vikings history. He's done a fuck of a lot more than Case fucking Keenum would have over the last two years.

The thing that struck me about the Vikings yesterday, even though they won, is that their team chemistry appears horrible. People pouting on the sidelines, arguing with each other.
Seems just a matter of time before they implode in another playoffs.

Kirk, for people who have thrown more than 1 pass, is second in franchise history in completion percentage at 69.7. He's behind only Sam Bradfard (71.8) of threw half the amount of passes.
-By the end of next season will be 4th all time in wins (which is a pretty silly QB stat but whatever)
-7th in completions. Will be 4th by the end of next season
-8th in attempts - and will only be 6th by this time next year. Not bad to be 4th in completions but 6th in attempts
-8th in passing TDs. Will be 4th by next season
-Second amount qualifying QBs in TD pass percentage
-Out of 23 QBs that have actually thrown enough passes to have stats matter he has thrown the 6th fewest INTs at 16, which again considering he has more attempts than almost all of them is telling.
-Hell, in terms of passes resulting in INTs he's the lowest in franchise history at 1.5%
-5th in yards per attempt, 2nd in adjusted yards per attempt.
-2nd in yards per game
-Highest QB Rating in Vikings QB history
But yeah. He's shit. The Vikings should have just kept Keenum. What a dumb use of money.

Oh know....highly competitive professional athletes getting angry on the sidelines. That's fucking never happened before.

Happens every year with the Vikings, seemingly. The bad chemistry is pretty obvious.
Good pic. Diggs is a real class act.

Payton is the leader of the douche tribe and deserves every bit of bad karma/response that comes his way.

Payton is a douche. Pete Carroll is a douche.
Still doesn't mean you act like a hoodrat when you shake hands after the game.
Grow up a little. Act like you've been there.

You mean like Payton turning to the Vikings fans and mocking the Skol Chant in Minnesota 2 years ago when the took the lead? That kind of class?
Fuck Payton and his dirty ass franchise.

The Eagles are one of the classiest teams in the league and with great team chemistry that has led them to a Super Bowl championship.
Carry on.
