My Brain is SO Weird....

Sometimes, when I'm sitting in the service listening to the sermon, watching a speech, watching TV, etc., my brain jumps off from something the speaker said to something that I can't even figure out how it's connected. Today, it was like that during our morning service. Our pastor was preaching on fasting, as he always does in January, when something he said caused my brain to that Jets-Bills game from back in the '80s, when referee Ben Dreith made what is perhaps the most famous (and crazy) personal foul call in the history of football: "He was giving him the business!" I still find that one of the funniest things I've ever heard, but I can't figure out how it's related to a sermon on fasting.
