No problem with the activity, but there are a couple thousand people watching. You want to play footgolf or lacrosse golf or whatever this thing is called, more power to you. We made up all kinds of crazy games/sports growing up. But going to watch other people do it? That's where I draw the line. :tothehand:

Why? What does it matter to you if others go to watch a sporting event that appeals to them? I don't care for baseball and I may make fun of it occasionally but it's no skin off my back if thousands go to baseball games. How is sockey any different?

We set up a course for a couple of years. It was a really fun sport but never took hold for us.

That’s what Ovie will be doing in five years after all the vodka kicks in. Glad you’re here to protect us! :thumb:

There's some truth to that, but the problem wasn't demand, it was over supply. Golf aint going nowhere.

:nod

The # of courses grew by 700% in the 90’s due to real estate development rather than demand while the # of golfers was stagnant.

We averaged 35,000 rounds that decade but as 7 other courses came on line we shrunk to the low 20’s.
