:thumb: Will be rooting for him. Wait, was he in Duran Duran?

Although it won't be the same as a Masters with fans in April, I'm VERY happy to have it. I'm thinking of it as a bonus Augusta, not a replacement.

Going in person in 2017 was without a doubt the only thing in life I've ever experienced that you couldn't oversell. As excited as I was to go, it was better than I built it up to be.

I'm not a hater of Rahm, but I have noticed him tanking on the weekend so many times.

Rahm is a big guy and has been playing well, but Bryson "Beefcake" DeChambeau is playing well this year.

I went to Rahm's stats after I posted that. I had him in a season long fantasy pool in 2018 and 2019 and he did tank a lot on weekends. But he has been a little better over the last year or so.
But since the 2018 season, I counted 9 weekend rounds where he shot 75 or worse. His average finish when he did that was 24th. That pretty much means he was in the hunt going into the weekend.
He actually won a tournament with a final round 75.

Rahm and DeC are both bad for the game IMO. Anger and slow play.

I don't get the lack of spectators. They couldn't have gotten 1k, 2k, even 5k people into that event and still keep them socially distanced? It's a pretty big golf course, all of it is outside, and it would seem pretty easy to keep people separated during this.

Agreed on Rahm, haven’t seen the anger part as much from Bryson. But yes...slllloooowwww.

Can we throw some hate at Reed while we’re at it?

 I'm a bit of a Reed fan. Mainly because of his performance in the Ryder Cup in the match against Rory.

No it's not easy to keep them separated. They move around. It's not stationary seating like a stadium (you can sit here but not there). But think of the staffing needed for parking, concessions, crowd control, etc. It's just not worth it for a few fans.

Hell, they only allow 10,000 on a NORMAL year. They could have EASILY complied and gotten all 10,000 in.

:suspicious: There are 35-40k per tournament day in a normal year (50k in practice rounds). They do a tremendous job getting people in and out of the concessions, bathrooms, stands... but it IS crowded.

I thought they limited ticket sales to 10,000? :suspicious:

They actually don't release the numbers, those are folks best guess. Having been at various tour events, that seems accurate to me from the one time I went in 2017.
