Bombshell development. Washington FC has NOTHING in the closet. Two QBs on the roster in ODU's Taylor Heinicke and Colorado's Steven Montez. I'm not sure I'd trust the team to those two. Joe Theismann, anyone? Wow....

And Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Correct. They must have just added him. He wasn't on the roster when I checked before my original post. But he has no picture. That's odd. (Or perhaps that's why I missed him.)
I'm not too keen on Fitzpatrick, anyway. Heck, there hasn't been a Washington quarterback who's scared me since Theismann....

Fitz is light years ahead of those two.

Drafted ahead of Aaron Rodgers and retired ahead of Aaron Rodgers.

They signed Fitzmagic on March 15.
Congrats on a great career Alex Smith. Class act that set an example of leadership and grit that we could all follow.

Agreed, 88. Sure, I'm stuck in the '80s, but I do recognize class when I see it. Smith didn't throw a hissy fit when he had to endure a string of one-and-done offensive coordinators all with different systems that didn't take advantage of his unique talents, but stood above it all, and even emerged from a hideous injury the likes of which hadn't been seen since Lawrence Taylor. I wish Smith well, indeed....
