Nah, just Paul being Paul. There's a reason why you could induct him in the HOF right now. Picking him up in that trade is by far the best move the Suns have made in the past few years.
Has any NBA team made a better move?

Kind of sounds like the real MVP.

In today's NBA he can't be the MVP. Leads the league in assists (should get a real big thank you card from Booker for that) with over 10 per game, but he only scores about 15 per game, doesn't shoot great from 3 (just average at .330 from there), he only has 2 triple doubles this year. No one is going to vote that for MVP, despite how valuable he really is.

As for NBA teams making better moves, I dunno, I put the Lakers drafting Magic Johnson a little higher on the list, the Lakers picking up Shaq and Kobe is up there as well, the Bulls drafting Jordan (while also getting Scottie Pippen for Olden Polynice, and acquiring Rodman), Sixers picking up Moses and winning a title was big, Sixers getting Dr J, the Celtics trading Joe Barry Carroll for what ended up being Robert Parrish and Kevin McHale was a decent move, the Mavs trade for Dirk Nowitski certainly skewed positive for them, Bill Laimbeer was a throw-in for a trade that worked out pretty well for the Pistons. There's probably a few more out there. :coffee:

So Paul is great because of Booker and Booker is great because of Paul but Embid stands alone in his individual greatness? When it comes to the Sixers you are the opposite of JSO with Trump. You try so hard to use logic to justify your bias.

Don't be obtuse. Has any NBA team made a better move in the timeframe you mentioned - "Picking him up in that trade is by far the best move the Suns have made in the past few years."

NBA teams making a better move, Celtics drafting Larry Bird after his Jr year, playing his Sr year at Indiana St, and then going pro a year after he was drafted.

My, defensive much? You'll have to find a post where I said Embiid (sp) "stands alone in his individual greatness". While you're searching for that I'm sure you'll come across many threads where I say younger players like Maxey and Thybulle have really come into their own, especially with the Sixers playing without Simmons for the entire year. But I do look forward to when you can find the posts where I touted Embiid doing it all by his lonesome.

And nothing obtuse about my other response, you literally said "Has any NBA team made a better move?". I checked your post again, at no time did you restrict it to any move any NBA team has made since November of 2020, when the Suns picked up Paul. Obviously, that narrows things down considerably. So you're correct, in the past year and half since the Suns picked up Paul, it's certainly a good bet that that was the best move ever by an NBA team in that year and a half window. See, we can agree.

Other than the Suns are 13-4 since he went out, with three of those losses coming right away.

Paul is incredible - one of the best, if not the best Point Guard ever. But Booker is the league MVP

Nash is top 10 but not top 5. Oscar Robertson is in the top 5 mix. I would put Magic at #1.

Lebron is out for the last 2 games, therefore will not have enough games played to qualify for the scoring title.
