Streaks

Do streaks mean all that much to you? Does it depend on the sport or how long the season is?
FWIW, I'm wondering because of how the softball season has opened for Liberty. They opened 0-5, including losses to Iowa, #19 KY, #23 Northwestern, #9 Mizzou, and #24 UCF; most of the losses were bad. Now, though, the record has been evened, including wins vs. Maryland (a no-hitter), FAU, OH State, Hofstra, and S. Alabama; there were some pretty bad beatdowns in there, too (the Flames nearly put up the point-equivalent of two touchdowns on FAU). There are games coming up against Rutgers, Notre Dame, Arkansas, Clempson, Illinois, North Carolina, UVA, Louisville, VA Tech, Tennessee, and the Dookies. There is also the usual crap schedule associated with being in the ASUN. Does this mean that whatever problems were going on early have been worked out (possibly injuries, inexperience, etc.)? Or is Liberty toast? Keep in mind that their head coach is HOFer Dr. Dot Richardson, who won gold medals with Team USA as a shortstop....
