How about Michael Ray Richardson he was a product of the Big Sky Conference from Montana.

I cut it off at those with 10 or more seasons. Michael Ray lasted 6 before drug problems cut his career short.

Fine with this from a Sixers perspective. There's two #1 picks in this - one from the Clippers and then in another year the least of 3 OKC controlled picks. Plus two second round picks. And I think all of the guys the Sixers got are on expiring contracts so you're not stuck with them and it gives the Sixers leverage later on for another trade, while also freeing up money for free agency after this year. Considering this is still all basically getting out from under the Ben Simmons debacle, I'll take it. That's a pretty big haul to get considering where we were with one player who won't shoot and another player who doesn't like to stay where he is.

Sixers have a star in Embiid and a likely star in the making in Maxey, and now a bunch of players that fit around them. Frankly, I think the most important thing is that the Sixers actually have a coach this year - the gap between Nurse and Doc Rivers is almost canyon-like. Much better team to watch now and still a contender in the East with Boston, Milwaukee, and Miami.

I thought Covington would be on the verge of stardom playing with the Sixers in his early years as a great outside shooter but now he's recognized as a defensive specialist who can get hot occasionally if he's on the perimeter.

Sixers sitting at 5-1, and next up get a chance to avenge that opening night loss to the Celtics. Sixers could quietly be much better this year than last - don't underestimate the value of coaching, even in the NBA. Moving from Doc Rivers to Nick Nurse could be one of the best moves they made all offseason. Heck, Nick's got a chance to even find a way to make Tobias Harris a key player come playoff time. They accumulated all those assets in the Harden trade so they could go after another player, but don't sleep on the Sixers this year.

I've been hearing some chatter that there is no "next face" of the NBA after Bron hangs it up. I don't really agree because Giannis is around and guys like Embiid, Jokić or Doncic are around, but neither Jokić or Doncic really seem to want to be that kind of guy. The other names you might ascribe to the "face" roll are also at/nearing the end of their careers. Yes, guys like Tatum, Booker, Ja, Trae, and a few others exist but none of them seem to have the potential "it" factor right now - or have other significant issues off the court the NBA won't be willing to throw their weight behind.

Even a guy like Giannis, who has a decade left at an elite level, will be 31/32 at that point.

Then there is Ant who is absolutely exploding right now. He's entirely likely to be the next face/star of USA basketball. He just turned 22 years old. He as the personality to take it on and be loved and known. The mentality to run with it.

I don't know that he is the "next face" but someone young is going to have to take over in the next 2 to 4 years and right now he seems the most primed to be that guy. Now, can he do that from Minnesota? I sure as hell hope so.
