Some are projecting the Athletics as a darkhorse playoff contender. And I just found out that my favorite active ballplayer, originally called up by the Athletics, signed last month with the Diablos Rojos in the Mexican League (considered AAA-equivalent until COVID hit) in a last-ditch effort to kick-start his career again. I'd love to see the A's pick up Dan Straily again....

I saw that. I think it's pretty much a done deal for Rose and Jackson in the Hall, and POSSIBLY Cicotte. None of the others will even sniff it....

And then their were four.

Tigers aren't among them, unfortunately.
