How about going on the field with your team name misspelled on your jersey???
There's no space for sartorial comments in the box score, but that doesn't mean you can't get charged with an error. Or several. At least two players today -- and it could be more... I'll keep my eyes open -- are wearing jerseys with a misspelling across the chest. Ryan Zimmerman and Adam Dunn both have jerseys that say, "NATINALS."

Saw that on Yahoo the other day. I giggled. Pretty embarrassing to mess up a jersey for a professional team.

it happens often actually.
A week ago they had the N upside down
But it happens with other schools/teams and happens more often than you think. Just this week Ichiro didn't have the compass above his M and here are a few others...

Reminds me of the old snickers commercial:
"Who are the chefs?"

Thats what I love about the Navy one. If you looked at it and just read it you would say it exactly right

a lot of the wrong spellings are on names. If you ever read the uniwatch website on ESPN.com he does a whole article on misspellings and it is amazing how many professional teams spell players names wrong.

For cost cutting reasons, the Nationals have taken the O off their jerseys to use on the scoreboard
