I can't believe you guys missed this...

I just saw on Yahoo today that the second coming of Rickey has hit the major leagues. In the form of a guy who almost NEVER gets greedy.

Dude stole second, third, AND home in the same inning yesterday. I absolutely LOVED hearing about that. I'm sick and tired of getting a guy on and just waiting for the jack that never comes. Give me steals, double steals, and hit-and-runs all day long.

Congrats! Now let's do that all the time.

The day that Bochyism dies is a day baseball fans everywhere can rejoice. Bochyball is the most boring form of baseball around.

it woulda been more impressive if the steal of home was a straight steal.

Yes. We Phillies fans try and keep all of our Phillies talk on one thread. I'm sure nobody wants to see a bunch of Philadelphia threads.

A run is a run, there are no style points. Werth spotted something between the LA pitcher and catcher and exploited it - impressive in it's own right.

I don't follow baseball that much.
what's the difference?

(if it wasn't a straight steal, does that make it a gay steal? did he have inappropriate contact with the catcher afterward or something?)

He's just jealous it wasn't a Red Sox player.

If it had been he would have started a separate thread...for each stolen base.
