Oh did I mention he is the coach?

A midget league baseball coach in Watertown has been banned from the league after reportedly showing up to a game drunk and then urinating near the field.

It happened at a game Wednesday evening at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.

In attendance was Watertown Police Chief Joe Goss, whose son was among the 8-10 year olds participating in the game.

Chief Goss said he was alerted by other parents at the game that the coach of one team, 42 year old Frederick Goodwin, appeared to be intoxicated.

Goss said he placed a call to Jayme St. Croix, the city's recreation director, and was waiting for him to arrive so they could deal with the situation together.

That's when Goodwin allegedly walked down the first base line to right of the outfield area and relieved himself, with his back turned toward the crowd. Parents were aghast.

Sure, it might make a rather unpleasant mudpuddle if some kid is tracking down a foul ball out there.
but it's not any different than playing in a park where people walk their dogs.

My son's coach got CHOKED by the other team's coach last Friday night. Quite the brewhaha.

Nah....the whole thing lasted less than 15 seconds....then the other coach (who obviously got thrown out) walked off calling one mother a "fat broad", told her to "fuck off" and "go teach your kid some class!". Hello pot, I'm kettle! He was pissed because one of our batters hit a BOMB (his second of the night) off the scoreboard in right-centerfield and showboated for about 5 seconds before beginning his homerun trot.

Yeah. He was out of line, and the ump even scolded him when he got back to home plate...then all hell broke loose when the other coach started droppin' F-bombs and shit. Funny as hell to watch though!
