No issues here, Perkins and Robles have been featured as the third goalkeeper for the last few qualifiers, so time should be split between them.
DEFENDERS- Steve Cherundolo (Hannover 96), Jimmy Conrad (Kansas City Wizards), Clarence Goodson (IK Start), Jay Heaps (New England Revolution), Chad Marshall (Columbus Crew), Michael Parkhurst (FC Nordsjaellands), Heath Pearce (Hansa Rostock)
Cherundolo, Conrad, Parkhurst, and Pearce most likely to be the back four. I don't believe anyone should lose a spot to injury, no matter how well Spector has been playing, and I think Bob will give Dolo a chance to show he can still play. Conrad, Parkhurst, and Marshall are all great defenders, Conrad with his experience, Parkhurst with his speed and positioning, and Marshall with his size and positioning. The only issue I have is Jay Heaps - does Bob want to trade the Guatemalans foul for foul?
MIDFIELDERS- Davy Arnaud (Kansas City Wizards), Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Colin Clark (Colorado Rapids), Sam Cronin (Toronto FC), Brad Evans (Seattle Sounders), Stuart Holden (Houston Dynamo), Logan Pause (Chicago Fire), Robbie Rogers (Columbus Crew)
My biggest issue with the roster is this midfield. Bob has been pretty adamant about sticking to two center mids, so that in my mind makes Evans and Beckerman the starters. Most of the guys listed are wingers, although I will admit I haven't seen Toronto play enough to know how they utilize Cronin. My guess is that Holden will be at right mid and Rogers will be at the left, based on prior experience with the national team.
FORWARDS- Freddy Adu (AS Monaco), Brian Ching (Houston Dynamo), Kenny Cooper (FC Dallas), Charlie Davies (Hammarby IF), Santino Quaranta (D.C. United)
This is the closest group to our A team. Depending on how tired Davies is from the Confederations Cup, my guess is that Bob will pair him with Ching. If he's too tired, maybe Quaranta. Adu hasn't been featured yet, so there is no reason for me to believe Bob would start him now, and Cooper plays like Freddy trapped in Ching's body - creative and able to take on defenders, but does so as a winger attacking the goal and not holding the ball up the way Bob wants his target forward to do.

I guess it is good that the USA won. Just not as big a win as Joey C beating the small time eater from Japan.

At the Gold Cup, Charlie Davies (left) and Freddy Adu have a lot to say about where the U.S. stands heading into the 2010 World Cup.

Small chance I'll be at the match tonight at RFK Stadium. Might pass though because A) I don't want to get shot outside the stadium after the match at 11PM, and B) I have to be up at ass-crack AM tomorrow. So I might just watch it in the safe confines of my home.

Nah, not any hospital you'd want to be stuck at. Also, Freddy has gone back to Benfica for preseasoning training, leaving the GC immediately. And after last night, he really needs some club time.

USA 2 - Haiti 2

WE scored in the first five of the first half, they scored two in the first five of the second. We Holdon scores in extra min to tie game. I believe with the tie we win Group B. Is that right?
