2009 MLS All Star Game

In addition to the 11 starters and 2 commissioner's picks announced last week, six more players were picked by Houston coach Dom Kinnear today. Schelloto is unable to play, so an extra choice was given to Kinnear for the 18 man roster. Due to other games, DC, Toronto, and New York did not have any players selected. An additional 14 players will be announced next week, for bonus reasons. The game is next Wednesday the 29th against English club Everton FC.

Goalkeeper: Kasey Keller (Seattle Sounders FC)*, Pat Onstad (Houston Dynamo)&

Defenders: Geoff Cameron (Houston Dynamo)*, Wilman Conde (Chicago Fire)*, Jhon Kennedy Hurtado (Seattle Sounders FC)&, Chad Marshall (Columbus Crew)*

Midfielders: Davy Arnaud (Kansas City Wizards)&, Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake)+, Cuauhtémoc Blanco (Chicago Fire), Brad Davis (Houston Dynamo)&, Stuart Holden (Houston Dynamo)*, Shalrie Joseph (New England Revolution)*, Freddie Ljungberg (Seattle Sounders FC)*, Javier Morales (Real Salt Lake)+

What about FC Dallas or San Jose? Why no players from them? Yeah the teams suck but they still have really good players. Its bull that the Houston coach added 3 more Dynamo players.

Agreed, but the decision to add Montero and Hurtado was brilliant... :mrgreen: :nod:
