laser pointer

I had the St. Louis/Philly baseball game on tv this afternoon, but I wasn't really paying that much attention.
Instead, I was entertaining our new cat with a laser pointer toy (cats go crazy chasing the red dot around),
and just out of boredom, I aimed the pointer at the TV.
And I kid you not, not two seconds after I did that, some dumbarse Philadephia fan in the stands used a laser to try to distract/blind Cardinals shortstop Julio Lugo, who was batting at the time.
Crazy coincidence!
(for the record, my laser pointer was red, while the one in Philly was green).
Sorry for the pointless post, I just thought it was amusing (though of course, fans bringing and using laser pointers at sporting events is NOT amusing, any more than fans bringing and using referrees whistles to disrupt games)
