Robbie Findley called up to National Team for next two WCQ matches. He will be playing at home.
Findley is a cousin of NBA point guard Mike Bibby of the Atlanta Hawks and NFL wide receiver Shaun McDonald of the Detroit Lions. His family is from T&T so that match should also be emotional for him.

2 games remain.
U.S. plays at Honduras and at home against Costa Rica. U.S. needs a win in either game or a tie against Costa Rica to advance to the World Cup.
Worst case, the U.S. losses both games and has to play a play in game against the 5th place South American team.

Didn't Costa Rica embarass the U.S. when they played at Costa Rica? I think the U.S. will be ready for this match, it should be a win.

That Costa Rica game will also be played at RFK in DC. There is a huge Central American population in the area and fans of those countries tend to travel very well. If the Ticos need the three points for qualification, expect a very partisan crowd. I remember Honduras 01, and I can't believe the USSF would be that stupid or greedy enough to put an important (non-friendly) game at RFK.

If the U.S. beat Honduras in Honduras (doable, but difficult)
OR ties Costa Rica at home (if the U.S. can't at least tie this game they don't deserve to go), then the U.S. advances to the World Cup. It is unlikely that the U.S. can back in with 2 losses.

We are guaranteed fourth place from last night. 2 losses would in all likelihood mean we go on the road to South America, but we do at least know for sure we're past the "will we, won't we" and now are to the "please God don't let us play at El Monumento".
