Seven weeks after Timberwolves coach Kevin McHale was let go, the Los Angeles Times reported late Wednesday that Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Kurt Rambis traveled to meet with Wolves officials earlier that day and was on his way toward becoming the team's new coach.
The newspaper said Rambis' travel and discussions with the Wolves were a "strong sign" he will replace the man who so famously clotheslined him in a 1984 NBA Finals game.

the Target Center is worn out, the Wolves ticket sales are in the toilet, and unless Ricky Rubio changes the world - things likely aren't to improve... added to that Louisville is set to open a 20,000 seat arena in a basketball crazy market and in a perfect place for a rivalry between the Louisville team and the Pacers...Gil Dobie wrote:I haven't heard the Louisville rumors. It's not something that is being actively pursued by Taylor at this point - but I think it's only a matter of time

Kings shoulda pulled the trigger on this guy....
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
