I like how the list starts off with eight straight Sox players...
... unless I'm mistaken, the only Phil I see on there is Bobby. Doesn't really surprise me though. Lot of big names on that list.

That is an old list that has been shown to be ffalse. Just someone's wish list of who they thought.
Note how all are well-known players? A real list, based on random testing, would have many scrubs on it.

That was my first thought, I recognized all but 3 or 4 players on that list.

Over 75 All-Stars (off the top of my head). Really, only two players I have never heard much about.

I've heard of them all, but I deal with this stuff every day. All-Star does not equal well-known.
Now we know why many became all-stars

Abreu was the only 2003 Phillies juicer? If the selfish bastard would have shared with a few of his teammates we might have been able to make a run at the division that year.

I've heard of the players because I deal with baseball memorabila every day. Steroid use can turn a valuable piece of memorabilia one day into a piece of shiat the next.

Current testing that far more steriod users are those that are trying to MAKE the big leagues.
I follow baseball, but not to the extent of fantasy leagues, etc.
And I knew 101 of those players.

I think some of the Phils from that era were on some other stuff. We used to see a homeless guy in the parking lot outside the stadium while we were tailgating during the 2005 season. He used to come by and ask us for some "papers" or if we could give him some money so he could get a "rock"... guy looked eerily like Doug Glanville...

These are the only 6 guys I don't know much about.
Looks like somebody put together a list of "oft-injured" stars and decided they must ALL be on the juice.

It must be accurate because Luis Gonzalez is on it.

Abernathy was an infielder for the Rays (and a bunch of other teams) all glove, no stick (and the glove was only good)
Monroe - a guy who put up spotty big power in the Tiger and Ranger organization (owing to the roids it appears) ended up with the Twins for a worthless season
Weber - bespectacled (chris sabo goggles) reliever for the Angels during the 02 run to the WS
Adams - 5th starter/long reliever for a bunch of teams
Almonte - dunno i think he was a yankee prospect
Smith - I think was a Rangers prospect and A's pitcher briefly in 02-03ish

Hell, that's why I posted the rookie pic. That ALONE gave him his ammo...

Define well known. Are you citing a fan survey? Or just your opinion?

There is a discrepancy in the number of people even on the list. Heck, they don't even clearly state what the list tested for. It may have been anything from weed to creatine to anabolic.

There are also rumored to be some "clean" people on the list - players that WANTED mandatory testing, which would only go into effect if 5% of those tested failed. You can fail by REFUSING to get tested, so some of the clean players refused to be tested in order to be counted as a fail.
