Red Sox Nation Welcomes Newest Member Dylan Pedroia

Dustin Pedroia made it to the hospital in Boston in time to see his wife, Kelli, give birth to a healthy, 7-pound, 20 1/2-inch long baby boy. The Pedroias named their first child Dylan.
"It's good," Kevin Youkilis said. "I think it's great for him after everything she's been through, Dustin's been through mentally. It's going to be a great thing for Dustin."

Chase Utley became a second cousin the other day as his first cousin had her first child! Hurray for Chase!

He's probably going to grow up gay, and thus, not able to play baseball at a professional level. Professional baseball teams generally don't like men that skip around the bases instead of run.

yeah, but they'll bench Pedroia when they are mathematically eliminated before then...
