Watching the Jets/Patriots game, and Mark Sanchez looks to be the real deal. Hasn't thrown for a ton of yards, but seems to be very accurate in threading the defense, and putting a nice touch on the ball. I, for one, am currently impressed by this rookie QB.

I'm bettin' Pete Carroll wishes he had him back about now...

Wait, didn't Sanchez need another year in college to develop? Guess we know Carrol's motive for trying to keep Sanchez in USC.

doesn't usc always croak against a middling pac10 team after beating Ohio State?

On the flip side, it appears the Patriots and Tom Brady are human as well...of course they were in this same situation last week and pulled it out, so I don't want to count the chickens yet...

Maybe the Irish have a fighting chance this year.
Back to the Jets/Pats, huge stop on 3-1, Jets are up by 7 and get the ball back.

something with TB is still wrong. His throws are off, he is out of the shotgun 95% of the game. They are not able to use the play action pass as effectively out of the shotgun. a very mediocre year for the patriots.

More importantly, is his nickname "Dirty"?
