1) Didn't realize freedom was a Donk issue. But if the Conks once again want to be on the wrong side of history, have at it. The proposition failed because it created monopolies. A proposition to ban said monopolies passed. It will come up for a vote again, and will pass, but with no monopolies
2) Maintained Status Quo
3) Another Donk won
4) Poor Kentucky - just made matters worse.
Donks did well in PA and NJ, and passed an anti-gerrymandering proposition, which will help gain seats in the Ohio House and Senate, and in 2022, the House.

1. Donks, pot, and freedom.
Replace the pot with a cigarette, or a gun, or a Big Gulp, or table salt, or trans fats, or plastic bags and bottles, petroleum products, private property rights, health insurance, school lunches, etc. Yeah, freedom.
2. Again, Donks lost seats in Virginia.
3. A Donk won election in San Francisco...alert the media. The gist is the progressive wife beating sanctuary city loving sheriff lost.
4. After being ruled for decades by Donks, Kentucky only made matters worse?

Re: Tough day for the Donks.
I'm still trying to figure out why a good day for Republicans by default must be a bad day for Democrats..?
Cant the Republican Party have a good and and it stand as just that.?
Help me out here...
None of the things listed by the OP are bad news for anybody as far as I can tell..?

It's a two-party system. Both parties are playing in the same game at the same time.Chizzang wrote:I'm still trying to figure out why a good day for Republicans by default must be a bad day for Democrats..?

In your analogy isn't "The Game" better if both teams are strong..?CAA Flagship wrote:It's a two-party system. Both parties are playing in the same game at the same time.Chizzang wrote:I'm still trying to figure out why a good day for Republicans by default must be a bad day for Democrats..?

Re: Tough day for the Donks.
It's a kneejerk reaction in today's political climate. What's good for conks by definition must be bad for donks and vice versa. No middle ground, only mutual exclusivity.Chizzang wrote:I'm still trying to figure out why a good day for Republicans by default must be a bad day for Democrats..?

Re: Tough day for the Donks.
Eh, some states aren't being realistic. South Carolina, surprisingly, is moving towards making medical marijuana legal and it's being lead by the Republicans. It's only a matter of time before legalization for recreational use. Cannabidiol oil was just made legal last year.Skjellyfetti wrote:A victory for nanny state Conks?Baldy wrote:1. Re: Tough day for the Donks.
I'm still wondering how this whole pot legalization thing pans out. It's legal in some states to possess and consume it, but you can still be fired by your company for having it in your system (even days after consumption). I think pot is pretty innocuous relative to other drugs including alcohol, but it will be interesting to see what happens.

Re: Tough day for the Donks.
Alcohol is legal in every state, yet you can be fired by your company if you show up drunk. Some companies will have lower (or no) standard for allowable levels of marijuana in your system, most companies will have some level of unacceptble amounts. It will be up to the company.ASUG8 wrote:I'm still wondering how this whole pot legalization thing pans out.
