One of the Americans finished dead last, and the other is a convicted doper who got booed when he walked out before the race.

This little NK bitch was impressive last night.

The silver and bronze medalists out weighed her by at least 2X, the USA maybe 3X.

Not only that. There must be an offensive and a defensive effort. You are just out there battling the terrain...not a sport.

I walked over to the convenience store a while back. It wasn't a sport. If I would have carried a stick and a small ball and tried to hit certain objects along the way, it still wouldn't have been a sport.

I dug some sprinklers up and replaced them this afternoon. It took effort, some skill, but it wasn't a sport.
I was wearing my Fitbit yesterday when I was mulching and doing yardwork. Fitbit classified that effort as a sport. I'm going to petition mulching to be added to the Olympic roster of sports. :thumb:

My Polar M400 does the same thing when I'm on the riding mower.

Oddly it doesn't count activity in a car though. Weird. Not sure if it's the higher vibration or the more frequent turning that causes the riding mower to register.

Saw his interview with NBC, basically he said it was cop impersonators...but I think it was just the local cops working the "night shift". :coffee:

Yeah, but you like golf, so if it involves some sort of physical effort qualification, you lose your "sport" too, John Daly.

I freely admit that I suck at golf. It seems that for you anything that requires judging is not a sport while I define sport more based on the athleticism and conditioning required. NASCAR requires greater conditioning than golf.

Whether or not the sport uses judges doesn't make something a sport or not.

You're free to not like sports that use judges to determine winners. But, it's not a criteria for it being a sport or not.
Ahhh, the "I'm right, you're wrong" strategy employed by Jelly.

So as the wife was watching the men's floor gymnastics last night, and I was reading but occasionally watching, but of us said "If they didn't act like such goddamn twinks, this might actually a really cool sport to watch occasionally." Seriously, they could get rid of all the prancing around and pointy toes and hands and shit and just do all the jumping/acrobatic stuff and they might actually get a little more respect than they do. Some of the things they do take mad strength and skill, but then they follow them up by bouncing across the mats like methed-out fairies.

How'd you lose that last chipper then?

Pretty good work there 89. Yes, none of those are sports.
