So one thing I've noticed that is similar between hockey and football. West coast teams don't play defense. (yes, I got sucked into the other Game 7)

I think they'd be stupid not to entertain the idea. He's not going to get any better from this point on, might as well try to get something out of his dwindling hockey life. And there is certainly some team out there dumb enough to take them up on it in exchange for some drafts or role players.
