Where is the story about Hillary meeting with Ukrainian leaders over Trump campaign?

Feel free to post it, though - if it has legs... it might be better to start a different thread.

I'm fine with an investigation being opened on her and her campaign if there's evidence of wrongdoing. Sessions or Rosenstein (if it would be part of Sessions's recusal) has the power to do that. It's not like Democrats can stop it. I have no love for Hillary whatsoever.

The info about the Clinton-Ukraine connection has been out there for quite some time, Jelly

When this meeting with Junior came out it was the first thing that came to mind -

Basically, this is an extension of the "who's more sleazy... " argument

But at the end of the day- there are two things the Trump and Clinton camp have in common...

The Hillary/Ukraine thing isn't comparable. There's been no allegation that the Ukrainian government was trying to influence the election. There isn't any FBI investigation about anything like that. There's not even any indication that the Clinton campaign was involved in any way. There are numerous articles you can Google explaining why this "but HIllary did it with Ukraine" thing is a total canard.

Another total disappointment for a conservative like me watching conservatives just go totally in on the intellectual dishonesty front.

Sounds like Solomon's last "bombshell" about Comey memos containing classified info. Though, this one might have a bit more to it. It seems she was allowed into the US because to defend her clients in a money-laundering case. Not sure why she was at the public hearing or who invited her. Rohrbacher is a good guess.

I'm still trying to figure out why, if Team Drumpf was coordinating leaks, etc with the Russians, this offer from the English dude would have produced the response that it did... an enthusiastic response from Junior, and even an appearance by Manafort and Kushner?

Maybe they thought it was another channel to info on Clinton, independent of the "Ok Boris, let's release Clinton email X on date Y, to correspond with the DNC debate the next day" that was surely happening

It's everywhere. It just keeps coming. This morning there was a story that DOJ unexpectedly settled a fraud case with a Russian developer. The lawyer chick involved with jr's case was a part of the defense team.

None of this should be surprising. It's how deals get made. If you're right about the legality of it at least there's some sunlight being shed on the depth of corruption.

Random notes from my little slice of the gubmint pie... Pretty comical things happening with Russian contracts of late.

Just got notice earlier in the week that Kaspersky Lab has been dropped from the two major IT vehicles: GSA Schedule 70 IT and NASA SEWP. How in the hell we even let a Russian company sit on the list of go-to quick-order IT contracts is beyond me. They also dropped Kaspersky from Schedule 67 (photographic equipment).

Did we not remember anything from the Cold War? Retaining a Moscow-based cyber security software firm? JFC.

Then just about five minutes ago I got a procurement debarment notice on a lady with a very Russian-sounding name.
