I meant a stretch of time they were in the tourney (not necessarily consecutive) and seemed to get blown out every time....was going from memory.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Huh? The Griz haven't played UDub in the NCAAs since 2005.AZGrizFan wrote:
Like a three year stretch where UW (Washington), UW (Wisconsin) and Syracuse ALL kicked our asses in the first round....embarrassing, really.
UM lost to New Mexico in 2010, but that game was close. They didn't make the NCAAs in 2011 thanks to NoCo's cheating.

Weber State went 16-0 in Big Sky play (including BSC tourney) back in 2002-03. To the best of my knowledge it was the only time anyone in the Sky had or has since gone through the conference undefeated.
Though I think this year's Montana team might just be the team to do it.

Montana just looks so impressive this year and to think their top 3 scorers will all be back next season. Montana is in good shape.
Their game against Sac surprised me, but I guess everyone has a bad game here and there.

They really (surprisingly) looked like their heart just wasn't in it...or they were tired....half a step slow and a ton of shots clanking off the front of the rim...but they pulled out a W, which is all you can ask on an off night.Wildcat Ryan wrote:AZGrizFan wrote:Montana up to #12 in the Mid-Major poll...

Good teams still win even on a bad night, would like to see them do damage in NCAA.
