Re: The Open Championship
I could be completely wrong, but I think this would be a good event to NOT take Dustin. From what I'm reading so far, the players are leaving the driver in the bag at Carnoustie. It's so dry and firm they can't keep it in play. They're hitting 5 irons off the tee nearly 300 yards on some holes. If that's the case, DJ is losing a big part of his advantage. I would think this will play into the hands of a UK player. Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Ian Poulter...

I've seen him once before. You have to be a bit of a golf geek to get them but they are unreal spot on. What an obscure talent.Ivytalk wrote:Those are great! Who is that guy?

Golf Channel had Tirico and Strange reliving there call on the Van de Velde collapse. Sounds like I’m not the only one to forget that Justin Leonard was also in that playoff.
I do remember all the drunk fans singing in the rain as Lawry marched up 18.

I was half right so far. DJ shoots a 5 over 76 and is T137. My picks of Fleetwood, Rose and Poulter are middle of the pack. I guess the smart pick were South Africans. Three in the top 5.89Hen wrote:I could be completely wrong, but I think this would be a good event to NOT take Dustin. Re: The Open Championship
If this is the British Open, why are the golfers from Great Britain identified by English, Northern Ireland, Scotland?

Fleetwood's 65 today combined with DJ about to miss the cut.AZGrizFan wrote:I switched out DJ for Fleetwood after reading your post.89Hen wrote: I was half right so far.
