Tough ask in Flaggy-land, but I agree. Think the winner of this one takes the conference title, actually.

Isnt this counted an OOC game?

Well hell YEAH the most important game of the week to ME is McNeese State at Houston Baptist.

Actually Houston Baptist does worry me. They beat the absolute crap out a team from a mediocre D-II program. But they're located in Houston for Pete's sake. It's going to be pretty hard to be located in a more talent rich area.

BTW if the homer pick hadn't been available I'd have gone with Montana State at South Dakota State given the other options.

Where's Portland State and the Duckies?

Out of that group, EWU/NAU. Didn't have to think about it.

It's "Game of the Week," not "Game Most Likely to See a Team Hit Triple Digits." :coffee:

MSU at South Dakota State. SDSU's game getting cancelled last week means we haven't really gotten to see them yet this year. Curious to see if the MSU offense (otherwise known as Troy Andersen) can improve some more. Potentially the biggest impact on the rankings.

I'd have gone with EWU/NAU since they're both ranked high, but have a hard time picking a game between conference teams (even though this is technically a non-conf game) since they will be "well-connected" later in comparison to the other match-ups.

Only 1 game in there that is 2 playoff teams from last year (a rematch to boot). Both are projected playoff teams this year. I went with that.

While EWU is the most likely champ this year, I think there's potential for a surprise. NAU is likely to take their annual mid-to-late-season swoon. If EWU isn't careful, I think we could see BBQ, Sac, and the Griz in the chase for the title....
