Archie Williams stepped out of the 19th Judicial District courthouse and into the sunshine Thursday afternoon surrounded by relatives and lawyers — his first taste of freedom after more than 36 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit.
That, in my opinion, happens way too often. Also, though that was not a death penalty case, that sort of thing is the most powerful argument against the death penalty.

36 years. It has nothing to do with me but that makes me feel kind of angry.

Can't be too often that your case gets to go to the Supreme Court twice and both times it is a unanimous decision in your favor.

https://reason.com/blog/2019/03/26/hunt ... in-alaskan
Nearly 12 years after National Park Service officers told John Stergeon he wasn't allowed to hunt moose from a hovercraft floating on an Alaskan river, the Supreme Court has affirmed Stergeon's right to do exactly that.

"Sturgeon can again rev up his hovercraft in search of moose," Justice Elena Kagan wrote in the unanimous opinion released today.
Some interesting reading on the background of the case.

Jurors are **** retards. I hope to Christ my freedom never comes down to 12 idiots in a juror’s box.
If I were accused of a crime, I’d rather trust 12 “idiots” on a jury panel to determine guilt beyond a reasonable doubt than one “retard” in a black robe. If you’d ever served on a jury panel, you’d know that most people do their best to reach a correct result, within the confines of the evidence presented to them and the legal instructions given to them. The system works most of the time, in both civil and criminal cases.

Nature does not really show us Utopian societies. Nature behaves differently, similar to groups of animals, if you look at a wolf pack, lion pride, baboon troop, the alpha's eat first, breed first, then the rest are taken care of in order of importance.
This is awesome because humans are animals. We are biologically programed to fuck women and hunt.

I find him to be more articulate than Maher.

Maher will roll his eyes to make a point. Shapiro will explain in great detail why he should be rolling his eyes, but isn’t ... because that would take away from the rhetorical flourish

Guaranteed she got her head stomped. Some of the fights those kids at CE Williams had- I was surprised there weren’t much worse injuries than I saw

The paragraph where the father was talking about hiw she was a goid girl is probably accurate- but it reminded me of Jive 5 every time some downtown drug dealer got whacked

Knew it was most likely a black girl before I even clicked on the link. When I was in school probably 90% of the fights were between two black girls.

it is pretty interesting... in the poorer parts of black culture women fighting is pretty common
and when I say fighting I mean like knock down drag out bloody dirt nap ambulance to the ER fighting

youtube is fairly brimming with an entire subgenre of black chicks fighting

Bride kicks Marine out of wedding for wearing his dress blues
A recently married bride was not about to put up with the attention diversion created by one peacocking Marine who decided to partake in the matrimonial festivities donned in his dress blues.

So, she did what she thought was best — kicked him out of the wedding and sent him packing all the way back to the shores of Tripoli.

That, in my opinion, happens way too often. Also, though that was not a death penalty case, that sort of thing is the most powerful argument against the death penalty.

Well, I'll take flak for saying it but I do think the whole sexual offender thing is out of control and over the top. Like I got a "sexual offender" notification the other day about some woman who apparently had sex with an underaged male in the early 1990s.

We really shouldn't have that kind of crap.

How underaged? If the kid was 17 then I would agree.
