You are REALLY trying to compare a Congresswoman (who the Speaker of the House has put on blast, ignored when needed) to the President's right hand man?

Face it Colonel. You elected a racist, unstable white Sumpremecist as President. Quite the Faustian Bargin you have made

AOC is a member of Congress as elected by her district. Miller is a shadow-cabinet member that's now running the DHS without being vetted by the Senate. Trump and company have essentially found a way to circumvent the Constitutional duties of the Senate (and the GOP is allowing it).

Correct:

Acting Secretary of Defense (over 90 days)
Secretary of DHS (vacant)
Ambassador to UN (vacant)

Acting Secretary of Interior (over 90 days)

Man, the fishing is good today...two large-mouth progressives with one cast...

The correct answer to the question of how a 35 year old got this much power in the White House, and how a 29 year old got this much power in the Democratic power is simple...

The adults have ceded authority to the kids in both the White House, and the Democratic Party...

Jon, if you think Nancy P’s little pissy slaps at AOC mean much, you are either blind or dumb...an have a lot of respect for you and I don’t think you’re dumb...but I may be wrong...

Nancy could slap AOC down significantly, but won’t...today’s comments about the number of followers is snarky, but will be mostly ineffective controlling AOC...

And, I got what I wanted...you know that...so I’m happy to watch Trump self-destruct...

This country is like the Cuyahoga River...

So you got a stolen Supreme Court judge, at the cost of destruction of American Democracy, well done. Your Grandchildren (if they survive) will be cursing crazy Grandpa who put a madman in charge so there could be guns and forced births.

BTW - your madman says the country is full, so no room for more zygotes to develop in baby factories like you advocate.

BTW - if you think AOC has anywhere near the power that Stephen Miller has, you are an idiot.

But I guess "owning Libs" (which you and the rest of Cult45ers never do - you declare victory like a Confederate) is worth the destruction of America's standing in the world, polluting the environment (hey you will be dead by then, so what do you care).

Miller really is a real creep. I don't know how he out-lasted guys like Bannon and Gorka. Maybe Miller gets a free pass because he's a joo and that makes him less of a "nazi".

Oh jesus. I don't like Miller either but a shadow-cabinet member? C'mon. He's an adviser who is pushing his agenda. Just like they all do, regardless of the party in the Oval Office.

Border apprehensions were at a 12 year high for March.

Looks like somebody got word that we’re really an open borders country

It's fascinating watching the psychology of resistance vs. resistance play out
In the universe there is always an equal but opposite force (they lay in wait for each other)

as Trump gnashes his teeth and declares national emergencies and drums up hysteria
The universe delivers - he's created a frenzy - entirely of his own design

amazing...

The President himself had illegal immigrants under his employment - at his own companies
So of course he doesn't see the answer... He sees "prevention" not the "cure"

A wall is prevention
The cure is seriously damaging companies that hire illegals
1) Any company with illegals employed is immediately under extreme IRS audit
2) Fined per employee
3) Entire HR staff terminated
4) Chief Executive officer goes to jail for 30 days

Done... problem solved

Agreed as well.

As long as the draw remains, the migrants will come.

Of course, "Americans" don't want to pick watermelon or tomatoes, so something will have to give - guest workers, increased LEGAL immigration, etc.

The solution is to let more people into the US. Obviously there's an economic demand for workers that isn't being fulfilled by the current population, so just make it easier for others to legally get in.

This idea that we should only let "skilled" workers in is ridiculous. A strong economy takes all types.

Americans are xenophobes though. Can't have a spic from El Salvador take a job you don't want.

I think it's more about how we properly document everyone and get them to adhere to the rules. Pretty straightforward.
