Interesting that he’d confide in Carter.

I read that - very interesting.
Great point about how we spend trillions on wars, China spends it on infrastructure

More blather from the most self-righteous and least effective POTUS of the 20th century.
I LAWLed about the part where he said that China is a peaceful country.

The man is 90 some odd years old and still doesn’t understand China.
He’s right on a few points but as usual he doesn’t envision what Chinese hegemony will look like in the world.
I won’t be around to see it, but the progressive left is NOT going to like it

Just the tip of the iceberg.
https://www.wired.co.uk/article/china-s ... nation-appLabelling China Orwellian is often a blunt attack, one that misses the diversity and dissent of its 1.4 billion population. But when the state compels you to play video games designed by the government’s propaganda department, Orwellian is appropriate.
China’s Study the Great Nation app, launched earlier this year, does what the name suggests: it helps you to study, via news articles, videos and quizzes, the People’s Republic of China. The app is more dystopian, though. Party cadres and students are mandated to play the game, and have their points – earned by reading articles to the end and watching a video for at least five minutes – monitored by their bosses and teachers.
