B2's delivering the CHAMP

Post by SeattleGriz »

Seen it on company video.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... -Iran.html
The U.S. Air Force has deployed at least 20 missiles that could zap the military electronics of North Korea or Iran with high-power microwaves, rendering their military capabilities virtually useless without causing any fatalities, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.

I’ve always thought that we should be able to generate a localized, focused microwave weapon without having to use nuke airbursts... and here it is

Put those things on hypersonic scramjet drones

I watched an interesting story on Netflix today...on military dog, horses and pigeons and the history of their use...

According to the story, the only military still possessing an active military messenger pigeon capability is Iran...

This weapon will devastate any electronics system, but the pigeon will still fly...

Ironically enough, the DPRK may be much less vulnerable to this than Iran

They still rely on a lot of good old manual mechanical weapons. For example, an EMP weapon would have no effect on the thousands of artillery tubes they have pointed at South Korea

I remember after active duty while I was in the Reserves I was attached to a South Korean unit in Chinhae. The theory was we could get equipped up, trained up and shipped out in 2 weeks should the bubble go up along the DMZ. Problem was, NK’s plan was to overrun the entire peninsula in ONE week. :dunce: :dunce: And there’s no DOUBT they would/could do it, leaving no place to land.

The irony here is that it is China who would stop them. There is no scenario where the DPRK goes into South Korea successfully.

As adversarial as they are, the Chinese and their Han cousins are very important to each other economically. The DPRK is only useful to China as a buffer state.
