Biden should pull away from the field, starting in SC. Blacks like him, notwithstanding the James Eastland gaffe, and he’s “brilliant” enough to put a minority female on the ticket with him.

Back to the topic- for Biden to call her brilliant shows how dumb & out of touch he is.

Re: 2020 Democratic Nomination Process Mega-thread
I saw some posting by an alleged member of the Wharton School admissions team saying that, back in the 1960s when Drumpf applied, the acceptance rate was over 50%. It’s now around 7%. I don’t think you can call Drumpf brilliant by virtue of that acceptance. He probably couldn’t get in if he applied today.kalm wrote:JohnStOnge wrote:

Re: 2020 Democratic Nomination Process Mega-thread
Right now all the Ivies have very low acceptance rates, ranging from about 4.5% at Harvard to 10.6% at Cornell. That’s nuts, and it leads to the Lori Laughlin-type shenanigans and the massive donations by disreputable people like Kushner’s dad. No correlation between the “credentialing” rate and the quality of the education that you get. If I had to do it over again, I would have gone elsewhere.GannonFan wrote:But it's still Penn, though, right? It's not Harvard is it?Ivytalk wrote:

Pro-impeachment billionaire Tom Steyer has jumped in to fill the gaping vacuum left by Swalwell.

Re: 2020 Democratic Nomination Process Mega-thread
What a week!
1. Kamala Harris gets questions about whether or not she's "black enough".
2. AOC aide accuses Nancy Pelosi of having bias against "women of color" in congress.
3. Congressional black Caucus accuses AOC and "justice dems" of wanting to do away with black lawmakers in primary challenges.
With a supposed Hitler in the White House, you'd think there'd be more "unity".

What's interesting about that is that Trump does not have a "clear advantage" over any of the Democrat choices offered.Pwns wrote:

Interesting article on how both Dems and Reps work the system.
Someone does all the research legwork and then posts it to the internet, but under an obscure address. This makes it so it's not a contribution.
Information is out there in public view, but you pretty much need to know where to look.
