I don't think Chizzy is actually equating Bush to Hitler, he's saying that progressives were equating Bush to Hitler.

You two appear to be engaged in two completely different disagreements.

Well well. Seems the FBI didn't actually even get to see the Crowd strike report on the Russian hacking of the DNC.

A redacted draft report was supposedly sufficient evidence of Russian hacking for the FBI.

This info came out because of Roger Stone trial, but am sure it would have come out anyway.
The DNC server issue is foundation, and cornerstone, of the U.S. government’s position on “Russia hacking” and the election interference narrative; and that narrative is based on zero factual evidence to affirm the U.S. government’s position.

Mueller testifying publicly July 17 in front of the House Judiciary committee.

Mueller's staff testifying behind closed doors the same day in front of the House Intelligence committee.

What's this, Reek?

The House doesn't think Mueller put everything in his report? I think he already said that.

It looks to me like the Republicans are about to make a colossal mistake. It looks to me like they are going to go after Mueller with respect to the start of the Russia inquiry. I think they would be better off not doing that.

They won't change any minds so who cares?

But I wonder - why would it be a colossal mistake? How are they possibly going to be punished for questioning a special prosecutor on the genesis of his appointment? Polls show that a plurality of Americans want to move on now that Mueller has finished his investigation. So who exactly is going to look petty by bringing him in front of the House committees?

Or put another way - how is questioning Mueller on the genesis of his appointment any more damaging than bringing him in front of House committees in the first place, to question him on why he punted on obstruction? Because THAT'S why the Democrats are bringing him in.

You've got some myopic shades on there, dude.

It'll be another attack the messenger situation. Republicans will try to tear down Mueller, Democrats will go rabid after anything to make Trump look bad.

We've seen this before. Unless there's something bi-partisan they can agree on, this will be a goat rope.

I actually don’t think they’ll do that. The report already essentially says there was no “there” there, which of course I said all along in this thread...

I think they’ll ask questions about what evidence he was working from at the beginning

But if anyone stands to lose here, it is the Dems who demanded his appearance in the first place. They are going to want to know why he whiffed on obstruction and the tendency there is going to be less than amicable.

If the GOP reps turn up the burners on him that would be very stupid. I don’t think they’ll go full bore

Remember - unlike Reek and others .... most Americans want to MoveOn

It said there was not sufficient evidence to charge conspiracy.

The report also didn't go into the counterintelligence portion of the investigation. The closed door hearing will be the first anyone has heard of that.

Already explained in his report and press conference.

He didn't "whiff" on it. The DoJ considers a sitting President to be unindictable. He said the appropriate body to handle it is Congress. So, here we are.

I don’t know why you slink back in here, really... you must like bukkake from the receiving end

No conspiracy. I was right. Move the goalposts all you want, Reek

As for obstruction, impeach the guy. Its all there. If you think the Dems are calling Mueller just to get a CI briefing.... what am I saying? Of course you think they have constructive reasons

Hope spring eternal I guess

Either impeach or STFU.

But that's not their motive. The Dems will continue to keep the story alive in hopes it hurts him in the election.
