You do realize that badminton is an Olympic sport, right? Just ask the Red Chinks.

Chess would be pretty boring to watch on TV. Especially if you didn’t understand it’s complexities, beautiful and ever changing fields of play, and athleticism.

Golf and bowling require about the same amount of "athleticism"
and both commonly focus around drinking and playing

Which is your first clue about a "Sport"
and I do use these " " for effect here
Ah, the old "sport" debate. That's as useless as arguing over beer or burgers.

As 89 and I have talked about before, it’s downright spooky how many similar interests we have.

Anyone else see the video of Lowry singing in the pub with the Jug? So much easier to root for him than say Patrick Reed.

I will always remember Reed fondly for that Ryder Cup match against McIlroy. One of the most entertaining rounds of golf I have ever seen.

But yeah, Lowry celebrating was cool.

I had the opportunity to have a few drinks with David Duval after he won his first tourney. I didn't get a shot from the bottle of Louis XIII that he purchased from the bar though (was told he paid $8k for it  ).

I'm still pissed I missed the chance to drink with Rory after his Open win here. He was at the hotel bar 2 miles from my house and I could have easily guessed that's where he was staying. :x

A local pro here set up a couple girls with a couple pro golfer's. One a former US Open winner. The next day the girls were pissed, and told him never to set them up with his golf buddies again. Guess the golfers were pretty heavy drinkers that night, and it didn't go well.
