Well said. The "amplification for our thoughts" is right on target - we get to hear everyone's thoughts all the time and we are the poorer for it.

Far right and far left policies ARE possible, but they require either strong leadership and/or a crisis, and/or a shake up of established money.

And to Flaggy's point, I don't know if the left and right extremes are "growing", but they're getting LOUDER, for sure. And that's because they've been given megaphones by social media. The tolerant middle has just kind of plugged their ears for years.

It's time we started listening and putting our feet on their throats--at both ends of the spectrum.

That said, we can't even agree on what's "extreme". It's just another label to diminish ideas (many bad but a few good) from the other side.

I think Mueller did fine today. Of course the information is the same. We already knew that there were interactions between the Trump campaign and Russia. We already knew Trump obstructed Justice but there was no charging analysis because Trump is President and the DOJ has taken the position that a sitting President can't be indicted.

About the only thing new we learned is that Trump provided dishonest answers in his written responses.

Just because a sitting President cannot be indicted does not mean a special prosecutor cannot give an up or down finding of whether or not a crime was committed. Mueller did neither - therefore, bickering.

You do understand this, right?

What are you talking about? You obviously have not read anything outside of your echo chamber.

Mueller and the DOJ were told to stop saying the Russians used Bot farms, because they had not proven that. Just speculation.

On the other side of Mueller's claim, it is being contested in Roger Stones trial that the Russians hacked the DNC. The FBI never got to look at the server. They only got a draft preliminary report as proof. How can you say the DNC was hacked without even getting a chance to physically look at the servers?

Both legs of the Russian interference have either crumbled, or are in process.

The guy came off as a doddering old fool who neither wrote nor read his own report. He took down the entire Dem party today and showed the process to be a complete sham.

Every independent-minded pundit online and on TV I've seen has said Democrats have really gained nothing from this little side show today, and I agree. The biggest winner is probably Trump and the biggest loser Mueller, who I honestly kinda feel sorry for. It's probably a matter of time before Donks open fire on him.

The Dems haven't learned anything - they keep playing the game that Trump owns. Trump sets the tone, he sets the topics, he dominates the room with his bluster and bombast, and the Dems simply try to respond in that arena. And just like the GOP stalwarts that faded in those primaries back in 2016, the same thing is happening to the Dems now - the air is sucked out of the room and everything is Trump. Granted, having the economy rolling along and nothing terrible happening in the world is a huge boon for Trump and something that could make him too tough to beat come 2020, but the Dems do themselves no favors by playing his game his way. Days like today just confirm that. Impeaching a sitting President on relatively flimsy charges basically within a year of the next election is idiocy and Pelosi, for a change, appears to understand the political ramifications of that and has made the right call in terms of stopping that movement. But the Dems need to find a way to not let Trump dominate every waking moment if they're going to unseat him in 2020. So far they aren't doing it.

A billionaire celebrity that EVERYONE knows (even before he was President)....isn't going to be beat in this celebrity obsessed country. Trump's second term will not be a honeymoon though. The economy is bound to slow and his inner circle will begin to peel off as they consider their futures A.T. (After Trump). We just need to get used to wild swings in extremism in this country because everyone wants everything. The most fascinating thing to watch will be the Republican Party once Trump goes away. I can't imagine how and who sells their party and positions to the American people 5 years from now.

If you take the strategist cap off for a second, of course Trump should be impeached simply on principle but our justice system obviously lacks principle.

Question: when does Trump fatigue set in and jeopardize re-election? Answer: never?
