Won games 2,5 and 7 pitching complete games. Outpitched Bob Gibson in game 7 in St. Louis. It was a weekday afternoon World Series Game 7. You likely won't see that any more. Ivy is an outlier to my theory.
I remember Kirk Gibson's dinger. Does that count for anything? Maybe a cookie or something?
Last night Braves, Nats, Phillies, Mets, Brewers, Cubs and Dodgers all win. Cards were only losers in the top 8 of the NL (because they played Brewers).

You forget: it’s the Marlins. Harper figured the Phils will find some way to lose at least 2 this weekend, whether he plays or not.

Dozier just took one. Of course he's not quite as valuable as Harper.
That was damn funny watching the Phillies lose like that to the Marlins! Have the Marlins scored 19 runs since the all star break? Got a feeling my Brewers are gonna go on a run the last month.

You're required to have 100 posts before you heckle Philadelphia fans. I'm reporting you to Chizzang and Ursus, who will do nothing.
But I'm serious. Your behavior is seriously frowned upon.

Slo your roll son, mean to ruffle any feathers but there are legions of players that have never lost a game to a team scoring 19 runs, its pretty amazing

Not even sure where this game resides in terms of the highest scoring games ever, but it's certainly not the highest scoring game ever. Back in 1929 the Phillies lost 20-16 to the Brooklyn Robins. Apparently we got over it. I think the highest scoring game was the Phillies losing to the Cubs 26-23 back in 1922. Again, got over it.

I remember the Phils’ 23-22 win over the Cubs in 1979!
