Trump. He's not a politician by trade and that's why I enjoy him messing with the career politicians.

I went with Obama since Putin wasn't offered as a choice.

I sat through (and barely managed to stay away during) a Jimmy Carter speech at UD, so I'd pass on dinner with him.
I think I'd have to go with Bubba Clinton, on the condition that I get to go poon chasing with him after dinner. He'd be a terrific wingman.

Saw Bush at a conference where he was the keynote speaker. Then he did a sitdown with the CEO of Fiserv (big financial services company)...fucking ROASTED that guy about 10 times. Super sharp wit, self-deprecating, just an all around good guy. Would LOVE to spend some time with him.GannonFan wrote:Bush, by a pretty far margin. Politics aside, he always seemed like a pretty regular kinda guy. Even goofy.
Obama would be second for me, and the only other one I'd even want to have lunch with.
Carter is just too old and crotchety, Clinton is fairly slimy even as politicians go, and Trump is just Trump. I'd prefer not to be overly close in proximity to any of those three.

I met Clinton in 2004/5. Got a really good picture somewhere with him looking down my girlfriends shirt. The guy has charisma and I think he’d be a blast to talk to.

Re: Which living POTUS would you like to have dinner with?
He had me sold when he took questions from the press after a press-briefing on post 9/11 related stuff about reporting suspicious behavior to the authorities. I think he got asked what would be suspicious and he replied with "well, if you see someone you don't know get into your crop duster, maybe you should give us a call". He may not have been a very good President (and he wasn't) but since the thread's just about having dinner with the guy I'm sure he'd have quite a few amusing anecdotes during the meal.AZGrizFan wrote:I'm not shitting you on this. Re: Which living POTUS would you like to have dinner with?
That's a perfect example. And those were the kind of one-liners he was dropping left and right that night...mostly at the expense of the Fiserv CEO. Funny as shit....GannonFan wrote:He had me sold when he took questions from the press after a press-briefing on post 9/11 related stuff about reporting suspicious behavior to the authorities. If you are starting a list of people that need testicles kicked, please add Mitt Romney. What a total twerp. I would love to deliver one to his nether region with cleats .UNI88 wrote:You've convinced me, I'm changing my vote to Bush.

Bush hands down.
That said, I would be half tempted to pick Trump if Melania would attend as well.

Maybe a swift kick to the balls under the table could clear the runway for an approach.Winterborn wrote:And if Trump somehow had to leave partially way though the meal, so much the better.CID1990 wrote:
