I really hope they do. It’ll almost GUARANTEE his reelection in 2020.

Of course it does. Why would the Dems vote on this before seeing the transcript or read the whistleblowers report? Makes no sense.

Yes.....8 times....to get "dirt" on a political rival.....and then withhold military aid for an active war against.....yup.....man crush Vlad.

You guys are a bigger joke than Dems defending Hillary and Benghazi. But at least she never became President....and didn't actually ADMIT what role she played.

Aside from news reports, we haven't seen any evidence of anything. Let's wait for the evidence to bear out before we sharpen our pitchforks. It'll go 1 of 2 ways

1) Trump did nothing wrong or;
2) Trump did something wrong.

Either way, let's wait for the facts. The Republic will stand long enough to read a report.

And any important matters facing the country for the next six months or so...gets pushed to the side. Washington DC, typical.

Truth aside, your selective belief in Trump's statements is amusing.

What are those "important matters"? Stacking courts with conservatives? Giving more tax breaks to corporations? More Trump rallies?

The memo (not even transcript) looks particularly bad for Trump, and it's redacted. Remember when he said he'd release the unredacted transcript? I do 'cause my memory spans a bit further than 24 hours.

Of course the whistleblower's complaint itself hasn't been released yet as promised.

Then why is she saying that it is grounds for impeachment? I would think she would keep her mouth shut until she decides to put it to a vote? Saying Trump did something wrong and not acting on it doesn't make sense, does it? What's the angle there?

Odds are they'll impeach him knowing he won't be convicted in the Senate. What they need to do is say that up front. Say, "Look, we're doing what's right. We know the Republican Party is corrupt and so the Senate won't do the right thing. But that's not our problem. We're going to do the right thing."

They need to make spin it into a commentary on the corrupt nature of the Republican Party. "Look! Those guys are going to refuse to remove this guy who obviously needs to be removed because he's got an 'R" by his name."

That sort of thing.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Well, she can count votes, so there’s that. Not sure she could discuss Heidegger with you.
