I am not a liberal. However, I think it's important to say that I was not giving Obama any particular credit back then. I had the same position as I have now. What Trump now calls the "Deep State" had been after Bin Laden for many years. And it happened to get him while Obama was President. Same thing here. If Clinton had been elected the "Deep State" would still have gotten the guy. May not have been exactly on the same date. But it would generally have been close to the same time. All the stuff that was going on would still have been going on regardless of who was President. The US intelligence agencies and their allies would have generally have been doing the same things. And the US military would have generally done the same thing.

What I would say is that Obama said "OK." Everything was laid out for him as ready to go but they had to get his "OK." I suppose one needs to give him credit for saying "OK." But he had little to do with getting to the point where they were ready to go.
