2019 NASCAR/INDYCAR/F1
Re: 2019 NASCAR/INDYCAR/F1
By the way, the Brazilian GP, even with the championship decided the previous race, was entertaining as hell. It refuted any arguments NASCAR tries to make about supposedly meaningless races. Hell, Lewis Hamilton even got a penalty for racing too hard and wrecking Albon late. It was an awesome race. And no commercials. And over in under two hours

Well, Truex dominated the 1st stage and a half until his tire guys decided to put the left side tires on the right and the right side tires on the left. Otherwise he probably wins as opposed to his jackass teammate, as Truex rallies from a lap down to finish 2nd for the 2nd year in a row.89Hen wrote:Only watched in 15 minute intervals. You watched?
The Chase format is and has been a complete disaster from jump. They need to just scrap it.
Revert all rules to 1985 and admit that the France kids are all retarded idiots.
..peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard..
JMU Football: 2022 & 2023 Sun Belt East Champions...But you have to go home now. We have to have peace…
..I know how you feel, but go home, and go home in peace.

Good riddance. The most boring champion of all time. Also a huge beneficiary of the bullshit Chase format. He stole championships from Jeff Gordon (2007), Tony Stewart (2009), and Kevin Harvick (2010 and 2016) based on the Chase format.CAA Flagship wrote:Jimmie Johnson: 2020 final season as full-time driver

NASCAR should celebrate finally getting rid of that boring fraud by retiring the Chase after 2020 as well.

Not sure it's accurate to say HE stole them. I do agree he was a very milquetoast driver. I always wanted to like him, but couldn't really pull for him (or hate him). I actually throw Harvick in the same camp.93henfan wrote:Good riddance. The most boring champion of all time. Also a huge beneficiary of the bullshit Chase format. I just never liked him because he shared names with a certain former NFL coach. The cowboy hatred runs deep.89Hen wrote:Not sure it's accurate to say HE stole them. Second best live sports event in my life was getting to be in the Vet that day that Switzer's cowboys went for it twice, deep in their own territory, only up by one, on a 4th and 1, and not getting it either time. That walk out of the stadium that day was epic.89Hen wrote:How 'bout them Gannon fans!

Was in the house for the Phils winning the pennant in '93. Getting to do a fake tomahawk chop to a "Hoop there it is" video with 68k fellow Phillies fans was pretty cool. And the fanatic mocked a Jane Fonda video with her and Ted Turner in the house. Good times. Eagles parade ranks up there too, but not technically a sporting event if you restrict that to games.89Hen wrote:Don't leave us hanging.GannonFan wrote:Second best live sports event in my life...

Props to KB. I'm not a fan of his, but that's pretty accurate and funny.Kyle Busch, fresh off earning his second NASCAR Cup Series championship, gave a candid and often humorous interview this week on Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take” podcast. At one point, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver was asked about why other drivers “hate” Joey Logano, and Busch didn’t hold back. “Because he wants to be this really, really cool, everything’s always funny, laugh it up, have a good time kind of guy off the track,” Busch said. “But then he puts his helmet on and he’s a complete dick. … I’m just a dick all the time. You know how I roll. What you see is what you get.”

Self aware for a dick is rare.
