Damn it MSU - ruined an almost perfect Men's BSC night.

And Women went 3-1 as well.

Both NAU and SUU won with both teams!

NAU's men have been the biggest surprise so far. I mean, they don't look super good, but they weren't really supposed to beat anybody at all this year.

Whatever Burcar is doing different than Murphy seems to be working so far. I've watched 3-4 games online and Burcar comes across as pushing a positive approach to player interactions. Perhaps the players are simply more at ease? I don't know...but I'm confused by this basketball "optimism" stuff. The last few years have been dark times to be a Jacks fan. There's nowhere to go but up.

NET is giving Montana a boost for playing (and losing) a tough schedule.

Will be interesting to see how that translates to Conference Play

This isn't quite right. The Griz went 3/4 from the line in OT, and Owens made 3 straight FTs at the end of regulation (UM did miss 4 of their previous 5, though). It's just that Omaha made 3 straight baskets in the last 25 seconds, 2 of them treys.

Whatever. We sucked from the line in regulation and it cost us the game.

Yeah, kinda, but FT shooting is far from UM's biggest problem right now.

We should have lost to CP. Horrible 2nd half for us. CP was fouled on a scramble for the ball with 8 seconds left. Hornets were fouled on a put back on the last second. Hornets failed to defend the baseball pass in the last second to give CP a layup but they choked and missed it. Crazy sequence in the final seconds of the game.
