I think many people are confusing “principled” with “consistent” when it comes to Gabbard. I find her to be consistent, and I respect that.

This is anecdotal, but I’ve been familiar with Nikki Haley for many years and she has never come across to me the way you have described, which happens to be similar to the way journalists who didn’t know her name 4 years ago describe her. I think Ibanez would agree with me on this. You may not like her politics but she is anything but a dope.

I do. I have met her several times. She’s done things as Gov that I didn’t agree with but she held her own in the state. She’s a smart woman, consistent leader and tough as nails.

I feel the same way about Mark Sanford. Regardless of his affair and ditching the state, he is a true Republican and nothing like the crop of RINOs we have now.


And Haley is a 1st Gen American. She’s the epitome of the American Dream.
