He doesn't really have the highest approval rating of his Presidency. Yes, in that one poll he had it for that one take. But in the average of polls he's currently at 45.5%. When the impeachment inquiry was launched on September 24 he was at 45.3%. I guess you could ay that is progress. The highest approval rating of his Presidency in terms of the average of polls is 46.0% registered February 4, 2017. And he's been in the 45 - 46 range numerous times since then.

The job numbers thing will probably help him in terms of perception. But in terms of reality it means that his average job creation average is 184,848 per month as compared to 216,591 per month during Obama's second terms. And even if you leave 2017 out to allow for transition and calculate the average for 2018, 2019, and January 2020 it's 187,217.

So, while I agree that seeing a high job number now will help him, the reality is that his job numbers really don't look all that good as compared to the second term of the Obama Administration. It's yet another example of the fact that this thing where he's trying to say things were bad before he took office and now they're good is nonsense.

Not guilty? Everybody knew that was a given. Everybody knew the Republican Senate wasn't going to convict him. Most people...not all but most...know the Republican Party is corrupt right now.

State of the Union Address? Lie after lie. The problem with trying to rely on polls of people who watched it to gauge its effect is that Trump fans were more likely to watch it.

Actually I don't care. The border situation is much improved from what he inherited, and the working class (specifically minorities) have benefited the most from a more secure border.

Also Trump has some major court wins on the border enforcement/immigration issue that is probably having a bigger impact than a physical wall. Oh and monies were budgeted for 450 miles of wall in 2020 (not sure if new wall or replacement of existing wall). Either way Trump is delivering wrt to his promises on immigration/border enforcement. Still plenty of headway to be made though.

Uh.....US IS the top energy producer. And it happened during his term. There’s no “however” about it. We became the top oil producing country in the world last year.

For crude oil, yes. But that's not the only form of energy. We've been #1 for petroleum and natural gas for a while. Trump mentioned Oil and Natural gas. He was half correct.
