DNC at work there.
I was going to vote for Bloomberg a few weeks ago. I voted for Biden yesterday. I never considered Bernie.....ever. The DNC had nothing to do with my vote.

Bernie can go pound sand. I bet he pulls the same thing he did with Hillary and tells Biden to "earn" his supporters votes.  He will most likely be responsible for not 1.....but 2 terms of Trump which is deliciously ironic.
Bernie appeared at 40 rallies for Hillary. Establishment Dems, Hillary, and you need to look in the mirror.

Thanks for Trump, MJ.

I don't know if it's true but someone said that the amount of money Bloomberg spent on his Quixotic campaign is essentially the interest on his principle investments.

Did I explain that right?

He's worth $60B and spent $0.5B.

I guarantee his investments are doing WAY better than that.

Hey, at least one thing about Biden winning now is it really puts a dent in that whole "money wins elections" thing that people that constantly bemoan Citizens United talk about. Biden won some states last night where he didn't even campaign and almost didn't spend a dime.

Some of the talking heads said the amount Mini Mike spent on his campaign was probably more like 600-700 million.

Yeah, his investments WERE doing WAY better than that..I’m sure he’s taken a few billion hit in the last week..

Bottom line is in the history of American politics, never before has someone spent so much, and achieved so little..

..But you have to go home now. We have to have peace…

Pay attention.
We have already established that the DNC won't let her quit.

You don’t have to spend a dime when you’re given free exposure by the media. Money may not be changing hands in the traditional ways but money is still winning elections. :coffee:

Biden campaign didn't spend much, but some some PACS did. Literally why Citizens United is hot garbage.

The only thing better than Sanders "winning" the DNC nomination is Biden "winning" it.

I love what this is doing to the DNC and their douchebag fans have to deal with this shit being rammed down their throat like the LGBTLMNOP people forcing themselves on anyone who will listen. Its blissfully poetic

Nonsense - Biden won states last night he didn't even have a campaign headquarters in and places he never even visited or spent a dime. You're correct that media coverage helps immensely, but the spirit of the dissent over Citizens United was that there was literally no way for someone to win elections anymore other than to outspend their rival and that just hasn't been the case at all. For something that was supposed to be a tsunami-type watershed, it really hasn't worked out that way at all. And yes, you did stretch beyond reality to try to make a point.

Amazing how well Biden did on so little. Bernie is done and the votes are a mandate against communism. Now the DNC just needs to purge the rest of the dolts spouting Marxist nonsense and maybe their party will be palatable again.

Sorry, that second "some" should have been "super". As in, dark money.

Thanks Citizens United!

Let’s start with the basics...

Money still wins elections and corrupts our political landscape regardless of Citizens United and how money is leveraged.
