Everyone is a role model. The real question is how good of a role model are they. Bernie is arrogant and cantankerous and he talks out of both sides of his mouth but he' also doesn't throw fits whenever he's criticized or overshadowed and he doesn't brag about grabbing women by the pussy. Bernie's ideas are stale and have never worked on a large scale and he ignores them when his own personal wealth is involved but at least he has principles to sell out. Trump has no principles.

And I'm not advocating for Bernie. As I stated earlier, elections are about ideas and given the choice between Bernie and Trump, I would reluctantly choose Trump.

Investment transaction taxes and reducing healthcare costs with the same if not better outcomes has not worked on a large scale?

When 30% of our workforce loses their employer based insurance by the end of the year and they have no means to pay for their regular healthcare, not to mention if they happen to get hospitalized with the virus, and the health insurance companies have to start laying off workers due to a loss in customers, and we have to figure out how to keep them profitable while still paying hospitals so they in turn can continue to pay Docs and nurses, get back to me.

There has to be some serious thinking about what it will take to move Biden out of the way and insert another candidate (not Bernie) into there. Biden's not been good during the coronavirus stretch here and that has to give the DNC a lot of worries as the days go on. Trump is a buffoon and has misstepped all over the place during this epidemic, but he's still the incumbent and he's still the President during a crisis (no matter how he handles the crisis) and that's a lot of inertia to overcome.
