So much for the "Joe has the black vote locked up". Nothing better than a 77 year old white man telling blacks that they aren't black enough if they don't vote for him.

It was a gaffe, no doubt, But he's got the Black vote locked up. The only questions involve whether it'll be a little above 90% or a little below 90% and whether Blacks will have high turnout relative to historical turnout.

I think he needs to pick Stacey Abrams as his Vice Presidential candidate. If he does that he'll get above 90% of the Black vote and Blacks will turn out. She'll also absolutely pound Mike Pence in the Vice Presidential debate. But that's just a bonus.

And yet Trump won with 8% of the black vote in 2016. That was without the #blexit campaign and now the #youaintblack gaffe. A slight increase in black support will turn 2020 into a landslide win for him.

And then there is still the increase from Team Brown he will see.
