Other vehicles had no issue. This cop is just being a turd.BDKJMU wrote:No it wasn’t. A horde of idiots were out in the street impeding traffic- notice how the cop cars almost had to come to a stop. The pepper? spray was effective at clearing the idiots off the street, at no harm- its just an irritant.
At the point that the man was handcuffed and wasn’t resisting, force is no longer required. When the man is begging for air and no care is given, you can make the case for malice and intent to do harm. And when you stay on the man 2.5minutes after he’s non responsive, you have zero justification for your actions.SeattleGriz wrote:I'm waiting for all the facts to come out. Something about the whole deal smells funny. If bad cops are going to kill someone, they are going to do it in broad daylight?
If so, then wow.

Local Fox reporter onsite said they've also heard gunfire, and haven't seen any police in 2 hours. Nice leadership there. The inmates are running the asylum.
They claimed he fell down on purpose, therefore resisting arrest.Ibanez wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 6:40 pmAt the point that the man was handcuffed and wasn’t resisting, force is no longer required. Thought I posted this earlier today. Guess not. Less than 2 min. Take note at the 20 sec mark. Maybe he left off an ‘if’?Pwns wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 4:29 pmThe ME said Floyd didnt die from asphyxiation. Don't know if that will be relevant legally, but it's hard to come up with a good reason for the cop to have his knee on the guy's throat when he's cuffed.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 3:37 pm I'm waiting for all the facts to come out. How fast would a civilian get arrested and charged if they were caught on tape killing someone?BDKJMU wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 10:09 pm For all the people claiming Chauvin wasn’t arrested fast enough (which has shown to make zero difference in the rioting and looting anyway), for comparison of timelines according to wiki.
July 15, 2017: Justine Damond (Australian woman shot to death by Minneapolis cop Mohammed Noor.
March 20, 2018: Noor arrested.
Early April 2019: Noor trial began.
April 30, 2019: Noor convicted 3rd degree murder & 2nd degree manslaughter.
May 25, 2020: Floyd killed by Chauvin.
May 29, 2020: Chauvin arrested.
With the courts closed theough this summer? and as backlogged as they will be when they reopen, we might not see a trial until spring or summer of 2021.
Good point, but even if they had arrested him the next day, the looters and rioters would still be looting and rioting as evidenced by tonight..SDHornet wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 10:16 pmHow fast would a civilian get arrested and charged if they were caught on tape killing someone?BDKJMU wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 10:09 pm For all the people claiming Chauvin wasn’t arrested fast enough (which has shown to make zero difference in the rioting and looting anyway), for comparison of timelines according to wiki.

Imagine the media applying the same standard to this as they did with Nick Sandmann and the March for Life.
Guess there is no history of treating Australians as a lower class of humans for hundreds of years.BDKJMU wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 10:09 pm For all the people claiming Chauvin wasn’t arrested fast enough (which has shown to make zero difference in the rioting and looting anyway), for comparison of timelines according to wiki.
